Pilates

My approach to teaching Pilates is informed by my fascination with the infinite nuance found in movement of the human body, and the fact that I love holding space to explore movement together.

This Pilates-based Movement Class will incorporate Contemporary Pilates, Corrective Exercise, Hannah Somatics, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Myofascial Unwinding to support functional alignment and healthy movement patterns.  We will emphasize breath, body awareness, intention, freedom of movement, discovering new ideas, rediscovering old ones, and maybe most importantly, not taking ourselves too seriously. 

My classes are a place where you can be you and I will support you in that process.

 

*We will use a large bath towel & theraband as props
