Activism

through art

FROM THE STAGE TO THE FRONT LINES

Womxn of Tomorrow is dedicated to helping the next generation raise their voices through art, music and poetry so we can humanize, musicalize, and radicalize the issues we face today. Our efforts prioritize education, empowering women, and working toward cultural and social change. We are using our voices to awaken the masses to the extreme inequalities and issues in our society, including equal pay, breaking the glass ceiling, the silencing of women, unrealistic beauty standards, obsession with social media, the new masculinity, domestic violence, sexual assault, motherhood, and pregnancy.

Double standards

The Concert

The Women of tomorrow album

Inspired by the music of Glenn Miller, Doris Day, & classic MGM movie musicals; Women Of Tomorrow is vintage in sound, but not in subject matter. Like the modern pop elements sprinkled throughout, this album encapsulates the experience of the modern women. These original songs cover issues like equal pay, breaking the glass ceiling, over-apologizing, the mental load of motherhood, pitting ourselves against each other, holding ourselves to unrealistic beauty standards, obsession with social media, ownership over our bodies, and our relationship to men.

If women had been liberated in 1952, this would have been their album....

Women of tomorrow podcast

Hosted by Laura Bell Bundy & Shea Carter

“Let's hold the ladder for our sisters to climb.

All of them, no matter their color, creed, gender identification, or sexual orientation. Other women are not the threat. It's the patriarchy, y'all.

And when we put each other down and play into this type of thinking, we perpetuate this collective consciousness that women are the weaker sex, and we diminish ourselves and each other, let's support one another.”

“Catfight” , An Episode on How to Put Away the Claws for Good
